Known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic", Dubrovnik is known for it's stone walled Old Town dating back to the 16th century, well preserved buildings and museums, as well as beautiful shops and restaurants.
Being one of Croatia's most magical costal towns, Dubrovnik is a must-see spot for anyone thinking of traveling to this beautiful country. The Old Town is lined with 15th century, 80 foot high stone walls and was an independent republic with a lot of cultural influence coming from Venice back in the day. The narrow streets are lined with cafes, museums, shops, and lively food markets. Although there aren't many places to stay within the walls of the city, there are busses all around the rest of Dubrovnik that run all day, making it easy for you to spend your trip getting lost within the city.
Below, I will link an expensive hotel for luxury travelers, as well as a cheaper hostel for backpackers or those looking to save money.
